J.J. Watt is in awe of his wife's commitment to their family!

On Sunday, May 12, the former Arizona Cardinals defensive end, 35, shared a sweet Mother's Day post on Instagram in honor of his wife Kealia, 32. He also paid tribute to his mother in the photos and caption.

"Hardest job in the world and I’ve been extremely fortunate to benefit from two of the absolute greatest of all time. Happy Mother’s Day! 💙❤️," J.J. wrote in the caption of a carousel of photos featuring Kealia and son Koa, and his mother.

The former professional soccer player held her son, 18 months, in her arms in the first photo while in a sports stadium. The post also featured photos of Kealia holding her son close while in a car and of the mother and son napping together on a plane.

Amid the family photos, J.J. included images of his mom Connie Watt posing with her three young sons and playing with her grandson on a playground.

In April, the retired NFL player celebrated Easter with wife Kealia and son Koa. The family of three appeared to be traveling for the holiday, sharing scenes from a swanky hotel on his Instagram Stories.

Amid the travel shots was a family photo, where the three appeared to pose in a restaurant, with Kealia and Koa looking at the camera as Watt smiled, facing his little boy.

"Happy Easter!" he captioned the shot.

The couple has shared that it's been fun to watch their toddler's different skills develop and see where his interests lead him.

"We obviously love sports because of everything that they teach kids. They teach discipline, they teach hard work, they teach teamwork. They teach how to deal with winning and losing, how to deal with adversity," Watt told PEOPLE in January.

"We've experienced that our whole lives, so we're really looking forward to him participating, as long as he wants to, and it seems so far like he's interested."
