J.J. Abrams got the most bizarre wrap gift for Daisy Ridley

Some of the stars from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker appeared on a special Jimmy Kimmel Live! After Darth, Monday night. Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in the film, revealed the very unique wrap gift that director J.J. Abrams gave her. Ridley and Abrams share a great affinity for the English cooking contest, The Great British Bake Off. Ridley said, “Me and J.J. love this particular contestant, who will remain unnamed.” To show his appreciation for the work they have done together, Abrams had a special mask made for Ridley. The mask is a life-like depiction of their favorite contestant, complete with hair and everything. While describing the gift, Ridley laughed and said, “It's a touch obscure.” Daisy gushed about the mask, much like John Boyega did when he posted a video of the Spider-Man themed Stormtrooper helmet which Abrams gave him. Oscar Isaac didn’t seem as enthused about his gift, however. When asked what he was given, Isaac simply said, “I got a box of Oscar Isaac chocolates.” Abrams appeared to take offense to Isaac’s lack of appreciation over the gift. He interrupted the interview, saying, “Hold on a second. Those were literally molded, like, they said Oscar Isaac imprinted in the chocolate. Handmade! Don’t go, ‘I got Oscar Isaac chocolates,’ like I picked them up at the store, like they’re from Nordstrom’s. What the hell?” Isaac kept trying to tell Abrams that the chocolates were “delicious.” Finally Abrams heard him, and jokingly yelled, “Alright!” The premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was Monday night, across the street from where Jimmy Kimmel Live! tapes.
