Ivanka Trump Gives CBS This Morning First Q&A After Taking White House Job

The First Daughter is about to do her first TV interview since taking a job at the White House.

Ivanka Trump will sit down with co-host Gayle King on CBS This Morning this Wednesday, the network announced on Monday. This will be Ivanka’s first televised interview since she was named Assistant to the President last week, serving under her father, President Donald Trump. (Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner is also currently serving as a top aide to President Trump.)

The sit-down is expected to cover Ivanka’s new role in her father’s administration, and “what she hopes to accomplish in her new position.” She’s come under fire for being so closely involved in the Trump presidency, but she’s long been a trusted ally to her father, dating back to her days as a boardroom judge alongside Trump on NBC’s The Apprentice.

Ivanka’s interview with King will air at some point during Wednesday’s episode of CBS This Morning, which runs from 7 am to 9 am ET. A preview of the sit-down will air Tuesday night on the CBS Evening News With Scott Pelley.
