It’s That Time Again: When Everybody Freaks Out Over Macaulay Culkin’s Appearance
The curse of being the cute kid in Home Alone is that for the rest of your life everyone is going to freak the hell out over the fact that you no longer look like the cute kid in Home Alone.
Macaulay Culkin was photographed during a “rare outing” in NYC and he has — gasp! — “long hair.” That’s what the headlines tell us, but the photos show him, rocking the same hairstyle he had in October at New York Comic Con, going about his business, shopping for a dude bag, in the East Village.
Rather than his hairstyle, we’re curious about the ring he’s sporting on that finger. Did Mila Kunis’s ex get married again? And, frankly, we’re just happy to see that he’s looking well after this era:
It’s well established that Mac is living the artist life. While he’s still in the parody band the Pizza Underground, earlier this month he shot scenes for The Jim Gaffigan Show, which he also appeared on last year. On set he was an unassuming presence, says a source. Many people didn’t realize right away that one of the richest child stars ever was in their presence.
He also appeared in a pretty hilarious web short playing an Uber driver (in real life, he doesn’t drive) in December and is in his pal Adam Green’s indie Aladdin, which is screening now.
But if you really want to know what he’s up to, just follow Green’s Facebook page. He pops up pretty regularly doing some pretty irregular things. Like taking a pony ride outside of a NYC bodega.
That’s way more interesting than him having — gasp — long hair.
