Blavity Inc.’s 2023 AfroTech Conference has added a few entertainment impresarios to their impressive list of keynote speakers — taking place from Nov. 1-5 in Austin, TX.

Emmy-nominated actress, producer, and writer Issa Rae, culture-shifting music producer and artist, Timbaland, rapper and beatboxer, Doug E. Fresh, and U.S Representative Maxine Waters will now join TIME CMO Sade Muhammad, REVOLT CEO Detavio Samuels, and many more for feature panels and Q&A’s.

“We are excited for attendees to experience this year’s lineup, which includes a broad range of innovators and entrepreneurs from across entertainment and technology, all ready to share their personal stories and inspire action,” commented Blavity Inc.’s co-founder and COO, Jeff Nelson, in a press release. “Year after year, we remain committed to curating an impactful AfroTech Conference experience to continue to connect America’s fastest growing businesses with best-in-class Black professionals.”

In addition to the lineup of keynote speakers, this year, AfroTech Music will deliver live musical performances from Rick Ross, DJ Spinderella, Soulection’s Joe Kay, Andre Power, Jadaboo, Riders Against The Storm, DJ Hunnybee, Jasmine Solano, and Jae Murphy — followed by an official after party with an exclusive performance by Jadakiss.

Top technology and business executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators from Netflix, Google, Apple, TikTok, Disney, Salesforce, and more will also be present during the five-day affair held in Austin. The event aims to “connect thousands of Black professionals with inclusive tech companies and innovators, dedicated to shaping DEI initiatives at some of America’s most impactful corporations.”
