This marks the fourth year that the SAG Awards nominations will be exclusively announced on Instagram Live. “The SAG Awards aims to utilize the innovation and community of social media channels to create an authentic connection with their audience by reimagining the nominations announcement as a seamless, virtual experience for both nominees and fans,” according to the press release.

Last year, Emily in Paris star Ashley Park and The White Lotus star Haley Lu Richardson announced the nominees.

Rae and Nanjiani, of course, starred together in 2020’s The Lovebirds, a film directed by Michael Showalter. The comedy was originally scheduled to be released in theaters by Paramount Pictures but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was removed from schedule and later sold to Netflix.

The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will stream live globally on Netflix on Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
