Based on the namesake light novel series written by Keiso and illustrated by Kureta, Ishura is an action fantasy anime TV show that revolves around a group of immensely powerful demigods competing with each other for the title of “true hero” in the aftermath of the Demon King’s death. Ishura Season 2 does not have an official release date, but it can be announced in the future.
As of January 2024, Ishura hasn’t been greenlit for season 2. This is expected as season 1 is currently ongoing, and the producers will likely assess how the audience responds to it before making any decision. Keiso and Kureta’s light novel series is currently ongoing and has eight volumes, so there is (or will be) substantial material for future seasons. If everything goes well, season 2 can go into development this year and release in 2025.

Where is Ishura Season 2 coming out?
Ishura Season 2 could come out on Tokyo MX and other networks in Japan, Hulu in the US, Disney Plus (through Star) internationally, and Star Plus in Latin America.
