Is That Zombie Trump on ‘The Walking Dead’?

Wait, was that a Donald Trump walker? Super Fans of The Walking Dead think they spotted a celebrity zombie in Sunday night’s episode, “The Cell.” Some are certain that it’s the divisive Republican presidential nominee and have taken to social media to highlight their eagle-eyed find.

Others believe it might not be the man himself, but instead Alec Baldwin’s impression of Trump on Saturday Night Live, which assumes Baldwin died in makeup during a taping and that the apocalypse happened in 2016, not in 2012 like Fear the Walking Dead confirmed in its first season.

The Walking Dead executive producer and special effects wizard Greg Nicotero has a history of sneaking “tribute zombies” into episodes that pay homage to horror movie greats, like Dawn of the Dead, An American Werewolf in London, and Evil Dead 2. Nicotero even zombified himself for a Season Six episode.

AMC claims that this hissing, slobbering heap of rotting humanity who couldn’t even stand on his own two legs is NOT supposed to be the presidential hopeful, but we’d still like to believe that this is one zombie that could make America great again.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
