Irina Shayk Starts New Year in Glittering Green Mini Dress: 'The Morning of 2024'

The supermodel is celebrating the New Year in an unexpected beach outfit

Irina Shayk is shining for the start of the New Year!

On Monday, the model, 37, shared the glittering look in a new Instagram post on New Year's Day.

In the carousel, Shayk is seen modeling the Retrofête Nara Sequin Feather Dress while posing on a beach. She also shows off the dress while she goes for a dip in the ocean.

Along with the statement dress, the supermodel accessorized with a pair of nude strappy high heels that she wore in just a select few of the photos.

“The morning of 2024💚🐉,” Shayk captioned her holiday Instagram post.

While Shayk glistened in her latest outfit, she shared in April 2023 that she hasn't always received compliments about her looks. The model recalled for Harper's Bazaar that early in her career she was told she didn't "look like a model."

"'She's not skinny, she's too sexy, she's never going to be a model,' " recounted Shayk.

Her response was always the same. "I was always like, 'No, I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to lose 10 pounds.' "

The model also shared that her life has become “so busy” since becoming a parent to her 6-year-old daughter Lea de Seine, whom she co-parents with her ex, actor Bradley Cooper.

"We don't have a nanny, so between trying to run my career, cook, clean, dress my daughter, bring her to school, and do all the mom stuff, I have no time for people's opinions," she told Harpers Bazaar.

"We're teaching our daughter that the most important thing is to be kind to people. Every time we send her to school, we're like, 'Just remember kindness and love,' " added Shayk.

The former couple ended things in 2019, and they have worked to stay friends and be committed parents.

More recently, the model celebrated the actor’s new film, Maestro, and their daughter’s on-screen debut in the film.

She shared a sweet message on her Instagram Story in honor of Cooper’s, 48, Netflix movie.

"Congrats @maestrofilm," Shayk wrote across a movie poster for Maestro, featuring their daughter dancing with Carey Mulligan, 38, while Cooper props himself up on the grass. "So proud Daddy and Lea 💕."
