Ireland Baldwin Shares First Look at Baby Daughter Holland's Face on Her First Mother's Day: 'Changed My Life'

The new mom reflected on her almost year of motherhood

Ireland Baldwin is celebrating her very first Mother's Day!

On Sunday, May 12, the 28-year-old entrepreneur — daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger — spent her first Mother's Day with her daughter Holland, 11 months, and her boyfriend RAC (born André Allen Anjos).

The couple made the face to share photos of Holland for the first time, having previously shared photos where the baby girl looks away from the camera or has her face covered by a sticker. The photo carousel shared to Instagram on Sunday, May 12 shows the mother and daughter laying and laughing together throughout several pictures.

"Thank you for making me a momma! You changed my life and everything I have ever known," Ireland wrote in her caption. "I don’t know why I’m making this post out to you because a) you can’t read yet and b) instagram will probably be a distant memory by the time you can, but I am so proud to have made you!!!"

In an Instagram Q&A in October, Baldwin got candid about how she's been transitioning to motherhood when she answered a question asking how she and Holland are doing.

"I'm not going to lie... there have been moments where I have been so overwhelmed by all of the changes... but overall, things have been beautiful," Baldwin shared.

"She's so much fun to spend time with and figure out," the new mom raved. "I would say most of the stress I've experienced lately has actually had nothing to do with her. Being overtired just makes it all worse."

This past April, Baldwin celebrated Holland's first Easter, taking to her Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of their holiday celebration. The mother and daughter greeted different animals at a farm, posing outdoors. In one photo, Holland reached out to pet a horse from the safety of her mom's arms.

In December, the proud mom shared a few photos from her daughter's first Christmas as she talked about her shifting feelings for the holidays as a child of divorce, who now has a child.

In the Instagram post, Baldwin said she cherished "my first opportunity to show her [daughter] all the things I went looking for somewhere else." She added, "What a privilege it is to be able to celebrate today with friends, chosen family, good food and a warm fire."

"It is impossible to ignore all of the pain and suffering in our world and how I wish every child could be loved like my own. I hope everyone who celebrates is having a safe and cozy Christmas." Baldwin continued.
