Iowa native Hailey Whitters was named New Female Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards on Tuesday.

The Shueyville songstress was honored alongside Zach Bryan, who was named New Male Artist of the Year ahead of the Thursday night awards ceremony, which begins at 6 p.m. for free on Prime Video.

Whitters, who released her latest effort "Raised" in March, is having a breakout year, embarking on a solo headlining tour, an opening spot on country legend Shania Twain's tour and appearances on "The Today Show" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

The 33 year old performed in April in front of a sold-out crowd at Wooly's in the Historic East Village.
