Radio host Vont Leak is departing for Minneapolis.

Vont Leak began working at two local radio stations just last month.

Now, the recent William Paterson University graduate is leaving his post at KKDM as an on-air personality for 107.5 KISS FM and morning producer for Newsradio 1040 WHO to join 101.3 KDWB in the Twin Cities.

In a release posted to RadioInsight, the self-proclaimed radio fan expressed excitement about his new job.

"Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine being blessed with the privilege to live my dream so soon, hosting a night show at a powerhouse like 101.3 KDWB," Vont Leak said in a news release. "I’m beyond grateful to Rich Davis for believing in my potential, and I can’t wait to see if my New Jersey and New York winters have anything on Minneapolis."

Leak will host “The KDWB Night Show" weekdays from 6 to 11 p.m. on the Twin Cities' radio station.
