Ioan Gruffudd Spotted Out with New Fiancée Bianca Wallace After Getting Engaged

The star announced that he and Wallace are engaged on Jan. 20 after nearly 3 years of dating

Ioan Gruffudd seems to be enjoying newly engaged life.

The actor, 50, was spotted on a loved-up stroll with his new fiancée, Bianca Wallace, less than a week after the pair announced news that they are getting married.

Gruffudd and Wallace, 31, could be seen holding hands during a walk with their dog, Bubba Bear. The Fantastic Four star donned a black L.L.Bean jacket with a black shirt underneath, black pants, and white sneakers.

Meanwhile, Wallace opted to don a caramel peacoat with a black zip top, black leggings, black glasses, a black Marc Jacobs purse and a matching pair of white sneakers.

Wallace's outfit was notably highlighted by the inclusion of her engagement ring,
which appears to be an emerald flanked by diamonds, displayed proudly as she held Gruffudd's hand.

The pair announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post shared with fans on Jan. 20.

"The most precious thing happened… ❤️💍," Gruffudd and Wallace shared in the caption alongside an image of the couple posing for a kiss while Wallace held up her left hand to show off her engagement ring.

Gruffudd first posted about his relationship with Wallace in Oct. 2021 on Instagram, writing, "Thank you for making me smile again @iambiancawallace ❤️💫💙."

The couple's relationship was revealed only months after the former filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Alice Evans, in March 2021. He and Evans first met while working together on 102 Dalmations in 2000 and officially tied the knot in 2007. The two share daughters Ella and Elsie.

The former couple's divorce faced contentious legal issues that included a child custody battle. Gruffudd and Evans' split was finalized in July 2023, per Los Angeles Superior Court documents previously obtained by PEOPLE.

Just ahead of their divorce being finalized, Gruffudd and Evans' oldest daughter, Ella, claimed in June 2023 that Wallace abused her in a restraining order she filed against her father's fiancée. Ella also filed another restraining order against Gruffudd, allegedly in conjunction with the aforementioned issues between herself and Wallace.

Court documents previously obtained by PEOPLE regarding that case stated that a temporary restraining order was reissued following a June 23, 2023 hearing.
