Instagram battle: Jill Scott, Erykah Badu delight fans during coronavirus pandemic

Divas Jill Scott and Erykah Badu battled it out on Instagram Live Saturday night – and Michelle Obama was here for it.

So were Spike Lee and Janet Jackson, among other well-known celebrities.

The so-called battles have become incredibly popular in recent days as performers and their fans struggle to adapt to life in lockdown, courtesy of the coronavirus pandemic.

Saturday night's battle was the first between two female performers. Both shared some of their best-known hits with grateful fans.
