“I told Cole, ‘Maybe we could go here on our honeymoon . . . we would get such great pictures. Wait — maybe we could get married here?!' ” she explained to the publication.

After touring the venue, there was no question in her mind that it was the one.

“I knew that it was our place,” she said in the interview. “I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”

For her vows, Hudgens chose a “light ivory cowl neck slip dress with a plunging back by Vera Wang. Her veil featured custom embroidery that read: “Mrs. T December 2nd, 2023” in a Gothic font.

The actress told Vogue that her dress was the first one that she tried on.

“I put it on, and I was like ‘It’s perfect. It’s easy, it’s simple, and it’s chic,” she said. “It was exactly what I wanted, but we obviously had to spruce it up a little and add some extra love to it so that it was special, just for me. I wanted it to look like I was floating and loved the cape and veil combo.”

Jay Shetty — who led a Zoom meditation during which the couple first met — officiated their nuptials and the pair exchanged personal vows.

“[Writing my own vows] was important to me,” she told Vogue. “I would also say to everyone: Write your own vows and read them. It is the most beautiful thing ever in a relationship to be that open and vulnerable and raw in front of all of the people you love proclaiming your love. It’s just beautiful. I loved it.”

Following dinner and speeches, guests relocated to a different area of the venue where a live band played. Later, a DJ who worked from a playlist that Cole curated kept everyone dancing.

“He included all of the bangers and classics from Nelly to Eminem,” Hudgens told Vogue. “We danced for a while, then we had late-night snacks, like grilled cheese and pizza. And then we had it all wrapped up by 11 p.m.”

As she reflected on their couple’s special celebration, Hudgens said that she wouldn’t change a thing.

“I couldn’t have dreamt it to be any better. I knew it was going to be magical, but it exceeded my expectations.”

The pair first sparked dating rumors in November 2020, when they were seen holding hands in Los Angeles. They shared the happy news of their engagement in February.

During an April appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna, Hudgens got candid about her feelings over getting engaged.

"It feels amazing. It's so funny, I was talking about this with Cole. ... People are always like, 'Does it feel different? [Do] things feel different [getting engaged]?' " she shared. "That was always my question normally, but now I get to be asked it."

"And you know what, it actually does," the Knight Before Christmas star continued. "There's a sense of security. You feel so safe. It's the best thing ever. I love being a fiancée."

Hudgens added that she knew Tucker was "the one" very early on. "After our first weekend together, I called my sister and was like, 'I think I just found my future husband,' " she said, noting that she was immediately drawn in by "who he is."
