Inside Lala Kent’s Daughter Ocean’s ‘Monsters Inc’ 2nd Birthday Party: See Photos

Birthday baby! Lala Kent celebrated daughter Ocean’s 2nd birthday in style on Saturday, March 11. “My cute little tink tink,” the Vanderpump Rules personality, 32, wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, sharing a photo of daughter Ocean dressed up in a Monsters Inc costume besides cutouts of the animated characters. The party — which celebrated Ocean, the only daughter of Kent and ex-fiancé Randall Emmett — was decorated with plenty of rainbow-colored balloons, the number two in lights and special Monsters Inc lunchbox giveaways. Ocean and her friends were also able to play (and dance!) in a kiddie gymnasium before tucking into a smash cake. “Happy birthday Ocean!!! 🥺💙 We love you!!” Brittany Cartwright wrote via Instagram Story, posting a group photo of herself and son Cruz, Kent and Ocean and Scheana Shay and her daughter, Summer. “I mean, adorableeee! We love you Ocean!!!” Fellow Vanderpump Rules personalities Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney also made the guest list for the Saturday occasion. The Give Them Lala author gave birth to her first child in March 2021, welcoming Ocean with then-partner Emmett, now 51. The Midnight in the Switchgrass filmmaker, who shares two older daughters with ex-wife Ambyr Childers, and Kent split the following October amid alleged infidelity on Emmett’s part. “She’s the mother of my child. No matter what happens in life, I will never disparage or talk ill about her because she’s Ocean’s mom,” Emmett, who has not publicly addressed the cheating claims, said on the “Genuinely GG” podcast in March 2022 of coparenting. “At the end of the day, I am not that comfortable in this whole thing, but the truth is that I just have to always look at the big picture.” Kent has also loved doting on her daughter as a single mother. “She is so amazing. I’m biased because she’s mine, but she’s so smart. She’s just like the ultimate treasure,” the Give Them Lala Beauty founder exclusively told Us Weekly last July. “I mean, I see her with other kids and she’s just such an old soul. She’s 16 months [now], but I’m like, 'In your past, you’ve lived a lot of lives.’” She added at the time: “She went up to the garbage [the other day and], she threw something in it and said that it was, ‘Cah, cah.’ And then she does, ‘Uh, uh,’ in the garbage, which I know she’s telling me you don’t touch what’s in the garbage because I’ve had to tell her not to. And she knows how to throw things away now.
