Casandra “Cassie” Ventura remains unbothered as she tries to live her best life amid ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs’s ongoing backlash and legal drama.

As Combs, 54, faces fallout from newly released hotel surveillance footage of him shoving and kicking Cassie in 2016 — actions that match allegations she made in a now-settled lawsuit against Combs last November — the “Me & U” singer is focusing on family.

After splitting from Combs in 2018 after six years of dating, Cassie, 37, found the love of her life, husband, personal trainer Alex Fine. The couple tied the knot in August 2019 in an intimate Malibu ceremony, and shortly after, welcomed two daughters, Frankie, 4, and Sunny, 3, plus their dog, French Fry.

Since then, the “Long Way 2 Go” singer has used social media to document her and Alex’s romance, as well as their life as a family of four, which — from impromptu dance parties to pop-culture couple costumes — is full of “nonstop laughter and so much love."

In March, several months after she settled her lawsuit, Cassie shared a post celebrating Fine’s 31st birthday and writing that “there’s literally nothing like spending this life with my 3 best friends” — echoing the personal trainer’s 30th birthday declaration that he “couldn’t imagine having a life better than my own.”

“I have to pinch myself everyday,” she added. “I love you with the heart, to the moon & back for eternity 🫶🏽 Happy Birthday, Alex! You have my heart forever.”

A few months prior, in August 2023, she celebrated a different milestone — the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary — with another sweet tribute to the personal trainer.

“A day late, but had to make sure I showed ALL MY LOVE to this man! My husband! Happy 4th Anniversary to my Best Friend,” the musician wrote. “There’s no one like you in this world. You have the biggest heart and the funniest sense of humor, your curiosity about life still surprises me and warms my heart everyday. I grow more and more and more and more in love with you as time goes on and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

“Most important of all,” she continued, “you’re only person that can actually make me laugh until I pee my pants - that says a lot. Thank you for loving me the way you do. I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH!!”

Cassie also frequently praises Fine’s parenting on social media, and shares peeks into his girl-dad duties — which include everything from princess dress-up sessions and Spice Girls dance parties to skating lessons and tropical family vacations.

On his birthday in 2022, the singer said: “There is literally nothing better than seeing you play, paint nails, build nascar tracks, dance, wear Frankie’s Queen 👑 when she says - “Dada, 👉🏼 queen”, read, teach, love and take care of our babies the way that you do.”

“Getting to wake up with you every morning and watch you become THE MOST amazing father has been one of my greatest joys in life,” she wrote at the time, adding, “There is literally no one else in the world I’d rather navigate through this crazy life with.”

Fine has also reciprocated the praise, writing on Mother’s Day 2024 that the singer is “the best mama to our two little babies and French fry.”"

Late last week, Fine came to his wife's defense following the leak of the 2016 hotel surveillance video, writing, "Men who hit women aren't men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren't men. As men, violence against women shouldn't be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the upmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women.”

He continued: “To all the survivors, find the men and women who help and love. To all the survivors, your stories are real, and people believe you. To all the survivors you're not alone, and there are men and women who care only for your well being and safety. We want you to succeed and flourish. To all the women and children, I'm sorry you live in a world where you're not protected, and you don't feel equal. I want to raise my daughters in a world where they are safe and loved.”
