Insanely Awkward Kisses Lead to Real Love on ‘Love at First Kiss’

The second episode of Love at First Kiss somehow managed to be even more engaging and awesome than the first episode, which is saying a lot. Viewers were reunited with 27-year-old Josh who was hoping for an encore performance to his first kiss ever, which he experienced last week.

Josh started off the episode by attempting to kiss a woman by the name of Emily. Unfortunately Josh got really nervous and accidentally missed Emily’s face entirely. He ended up just kissing her hair and then giving her a hug.

Josh was embarrassed by his mistake so the producers brought in “amateur kissing coach” Erica Rose. Rose was a contestant on both Bachelor and Bachelor Pad, so she knows a thing or two about kissing. After an incredibly awkward lesson, Josh seemed to have gotten the basics down saying, “If you’re gonna use tongue, don’t use too much, but put it in and then take it out in kind of a cat-and-mouse game, that’s kind of what I deciphered…”

The advice paid off because when he later kissed a lovely girl by the name of Roxanne, there were fireworks. The two kissed longer than any other couple and it was clear that they both felt a romantic connection. Josh said, “I feel on cloud nine right now. I feel ecstatic. Unbelievable. This is one of the best days of my life, to have that magical kiss finally come true.”

Hopefully TLC will make a spin-off reality show of Josh and Roxanne’s relationship because they both seem like good people.

Love at First Kiss airs Wednesdays at 10pm on TLC.
