Injury Report: Warriors’ Andre Iguodala (knee soreness) questionable vs. Suns on Christmas day

With four players already in the league’s health and safety protocol, the Golden State Warriors will have a thin rotation against the Phoenix Suns on Christmas day.

Along with four players in the NBA’s COVID-19 protocol, the Warriors could be without another key piece on Saturday against the Suns.

Veteran forward Andre Iguodala is listed as questionable with right knee soreness for Saturday’s primetime Christmas day battle against the Suns.

Via @anthonyVslater on Twitter:

Iguodala was ruled out for Golden State’s recent victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday with knee swelling. The veteran forward has missed several games with the knee injury, including an 11 game stretch.

When he has been able to suit up, Iguodala has been productive. In his last two games, the veteran forward has recorded double-figure scoring efforts and five or more assists in each game.

On the season, Iguodala is averaging 4.4 points on 40.9% shooting from the field with 3.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game.

If Iguodala isn’t cleared to play, the Warriors will have Otto Porter Jr., Juan Toscano-Anderson, Jonathan Kuminga and Nemanja Bjelica to lean on at the forward position next to Draymond Green.
