The content creator announced the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post.

Malaysian influencer Jasmine Yong revealed the heartbreaking news that her 2-year-old son, Enzo, drowned last week in a “tragic accident.”

In an Instagram post penned by Yong, the grieving mother announced that her “beloved baby” died on May 17 after drowning in a hotel pool while Yong and her husband, Lim Kong Wang, were taking a nap in the next room.

“Our baby Enzo has now become a beautiful little angel, free from any pain or hardship,” she wrote.

“We are deeply grateful for everyone’s prayers and blessings during this incredibly difficult time.”

The previous Saturday, May 11, the family of three had checked into a hotel to celebrate Mother’s Day, and the next day decided to lie down for a nap together. Enzo, Yong wrote, “cuddled up next to us on the hotel bed as he always did, drank his milk and fell asleep.”

But when she woke up, Enzo was gone.

“To my horror, I saw that the door to the indoor swimming pool, which had been locked, was now open, and Enzo was found in the pool,” Yong continued, saying a lack of service in the hotel “prevented us from calling for help.”

She attempted to perform CPR but her young son did not respond, so the parents rushed him to the hotel lobby where the staff called an ambulance and he was taken to the hospital, where his “heartbeat was restored, but he remained in a coma.”

Enzo, Yong said, “fought valiantly” until May 17, when his heart stopped.
