Influencer JaLisa Vaughn and Husband Cory Jefferson Welcome Their Third Baby: 'Perfect Timing' (Exclusive)

The Dallas entrepreneur and former basketball pro tied the knot in May 2020

JaLisa Vaughn-Jefferson and Cory Jefferson have added a little boy to the family!

The Dallas influencer, 30, and her former NBA power forward husband, 32, have welcomed their third baby together, the couple tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Son Cory Allen Jefferson II was born on Thursday, September 14, at 4:49 p.m., the couple shares. CJ, as the family plans to call him, was born weighing 7 lbs., 4 oz. and measuring 20.75 in.

"We had the most beautiful and blissful labor and birth!" the new mom of three tells PEOPLE. "It's so surreal now being a family of five."

"CJ came earlier than expected but it was perfect timing," JaLisa shares. "Our family is truly complete and I'm so excited to get him integrated with the family and create endless memories."

The family's new arrival joins daughters Zhuri, 15 months, and Harper, 2½.

"We were so excited to get baby boy home to his sisters that as soon as we both received a clean bill of health, we left the hospital early to head home for them to meet each other," JaLisa says. "The girls are absolutely swooning over their baby brother."

JaLisa, who has shared some peeks at how her girls were preparing to welcome their baby brother, says the girls are "consistently asking to change his diaper, feed him and pat him to sleep."

"It has been a joy to watch," the couple raves.

"The funniest thing has been his oldest sister, Harper, directing the adults to the hand sanitizer or bathroom to wash their hands while also dictating who can or cannot hold him, along with the best way to do it," JaLisa laughs.

The couple announced the news of baby No. 3 in May, with JaLisa joking about adding to their family again so soon.

"Still in awe at how God continues to wreck our plans and give us what we didn’t even know we needed. Beyond excited with how our family is continuing to grow 🥹❤️," she began her caption.

"Also, if you’re wondering how this happened. Very simple — @coryjay34 convinced me that he had my ovulation date calculated to a T and that we had absolutely nothing to worry about… now look at us 🙃."

JaLisa and Cory met in early 2019 and were dating for just over a year when Cory proposed in May 2020, surrounded by family. In the thick of the pandemic, the two decided an intimate family wedding was all they needed and they tied the knot just five days later.
