Influencer’s ‘out of control’ gender reveal with airplane bashed for polluting the air: ‘Just plain pompous’

Is this a gender reveal or a polluted aircraft show?

A Lithuanian influencer’s gender reveal party which included a trio of airplanes leaving smoke-like trails in the sky has divided the internet as many critics called out the “pompous” celebration.

Video posted to social media shows Inga Stumbriene and her husband in front of a balloon setup when planes appear in the sky and shoot out a blue-colored powder to reveal the couple is having a baby boy.

Three planes make a big loop in the air — not once, but twice — as the couple looks up while holding hands. Seconds later, the planes flew above Stumbriene and her husband to reveal the blue-colored smoke.

As planes fly by, sparks, embedded in the grass area, shoot out with an array of blue confetti and more powdery smoke into the air for a mini explosion.

Stumbriene says she doesn’t quite understand the mixed reaction from viewers — and she didn’t expect the publicity from the viral video that’s been viewed over 25 million times.

“While we are enjoying indescribable joy and peace at home, it seems like the whole world is literally going crazy for our Gender Reviel celebration

,” she captioned in a different post.

“l’ll be honest, I really didn’t expect this when I planned this beautiful and cozy family celebration that touched so many hearts around the world

,” the rest of the caption read.

Stumbriene thanked her grandfather and the “@aerobatic_team_anbo” who was behind the airplane display at her gender reveal.

However, Stumbriene faced immense backlash for the aerial show.

“The most selfish and wasteful way to do a gender reveal… I’m all for unique gender reveals but this is just plain pompous, arrogant and so over the top… Literally…” someone replied under the video before Stumbriene disabled her comment section.

“Thanks for killing the planet,” one viewer commented.

“Nice waste of the pilot’s time and just burning fossil fuels,” another replier wrote.

“Bro is already leaving CO2 footprint before even getting out of the womb

,” someone joked about the newborn.

This isn’t the first time the internet has been divided over crazy gender reveals in recent.

A couple left TikTok viewers upset after they posted a video of their gender reveal party that featured explosive sparks flying into the air near trees.

The couple, joined by their children, stand in front of a sign when explosions of pink smoke and confetti shoot out directly in front, and around, flammable trees to reveal the baby is a girl.

The explosion was so massive that the smoke and confetti reached the top of the trees.
