Inflatable Ducks Used as Shields During Bangkok Protests

Pro-democracy protesters held up ducks to shield themselves from water cannons during demonstrations in Bangkok on November 18 calling for the resignation of the Thai prime minister and constitutional reform.

This clip shows protesters holding yellow inflatable ducks above their heads.

The ducks first appeared during protests on Tuesday, Reuters reported. Local news said that protesters used the ducks to shield themselves from police water cannons on Wednesday.
