Indeed Brewing Co. is bringing THC products to their Milwaukee taproom with the sale of hemp-derived THC gummies.

The Minneapolis-based brewing company dipped into the THC market last year after the legalization of cannabis in Minnesota.

They wanted to bring products to Wisconsin and were able to do so via a partnership with Kind Oasis, a CBD shop at 2169 N. Farwell Ave. The first batch of Two Good THC Goodies are lavender-lemon flavored gummies.

"We've expanded our offerings in Minneapolis for non-beer drinkers. It's fun for us," said Ryan Bandy, director of experience for Indeed. "We were looking into it more and more, and we're excited to bring it to Milwaukee."

Wisconsin does not have any laws relating to derivatives of marijuana, meaning they default to the federal 2018 Farm Bill. That allows the sale of Delta-8, an isomer of Delta-9, which is pure THC, and allows for the sale of THC derived from a hemp plant, rather than a marijuana plant.

Bandy said that in Minneapolis they have THC beverages in addition to the gummies, which will not be expanded into Wisconsin in the foreseeable future.

In Wisconsin, they went with a lower dosage, 2 mg, which Bandy said would be easier for people trying THC for the first time. People who have tried THC products before could adjust the dosage appropriately and take more than one.

Bandy said he imagines most people will take the gummies home with them, but they could be consumed in the taproom at 530 S. 2nd St. He does not recommend mixing it with alcohol, especially for those who have not consumed THC before.

"It's good for a non-alcoholic situation that night," Bandy said, adding that he recommended pairing it with their non-alcoholic beer.

Two Good THC Goodies are currently available in the taproom, 530 S. 2nd St., and cost $12 for a bag of 10.
