Imagine Dragons playing in West Valley City this fall

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — It’s the year of the Dragon — well, Dragons, that is. Imagine Dragons is proving that by embarking on their biggest North American headline tour. One of their stops will be in West Valley City at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre (formerly USANA Amphitheater) on October 11.

Presales will run throughout this week ahead of the general sale on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. local time.

VIP packages will be available that may include a signed guitar played by a member of the band that night, a backstage tour, an on-stage photo and more.

The tour comes in tandem with Imagine Dragons’ sixth studio, Loom, which will be released on June 28. A press release from Live Nation said this album is produced entirely by Imagine Dragons and their longtime collaborators Mattman and Robin, balancing the band’s classic, well-known sound with fresh elements.

The album will feature nine new tracks, including “Eyes Closed“, which was released two weeks ago, setting the stage of a new era for the group.

On Imagine Dragons’ official Instagram page, lead singer Dan Reynolds said working on the record was like a “rollercoaster.”

“Some days the songs came from a place of sadness and heartache and others joy and jubilance. loneliness. searching. wanting. anger. love,” he wrote. “The beauty of songwriting is that it has always simply been my journal. It has documented decades of my journey through this strange life. And I’ve been lucky enough to create it with my best friends in a band and have you share it with us.”

Imagine Dragons is a diamond-certified Grammy Award-winning group known for hits such as “Radioactive,” “Believer,” “Demons,” and “Enemy” with J.I.D, which was featured in the popular show “Arcane.”

Imagine Dragons recently made history as “Bad Liar” became their 10th song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify, giving them the crown of the first band to hit this milestone on the platform.
