Imagine Dragons bringing tour to Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Imagine Dragons announced they are coming to Tampa later this year and are releasing their sixth album this summer.

The “Radioactive” and “Believer” singers will stop at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on Sunday, Sept. 1.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Tuesday, April 23 for Citi card members. The general public can grab their tickets starting on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m.

The band’s new album, LOOM, will be released on June 28. They will launch their tour about a month later in Camden, New Jersey.

The new album features nine new tracks including the single, “Eyes Closed.”

“A lot of the record is kind trying to come to terms with just accepting. Things are looming and incoming, for better or for worse, and there’s just really nothing you could do other than accept it,” singer Dan Reynolds told the AP. “I still haven’t learned to do that, but we will.”
