One of the popular South Korean actresses, Im YoonA, has another identity as well. Apart from being a successful actress, she is also a K-pop idol who is the center girl, lead dancer, and sub-vocalist of the Girls’ Generation. YoonA’s character, Eui Ju, helps Yong Nam rescue the people. The thrilling survival film keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.

Big Mouth

Big Mouth is a 2022 thriller K-drama starring YoonA and Lee Jong-Suk in the lead. The storyline revolves around Park Chang-Ho, a failed lawyer who gets roped in by the mayor for a case. As he tries to find the truth, he gets framed for illegal drug dealing. He is imposed as ‘Big Mouse’ and sent to jail. The drama shows how he fights this battle and clears his name. In the series, YoonA plays Chang-Ho’s wife, Go Mi-Ho, a nurse. In his fight, she is the one who never leaves his side until death.

Quite a complicated thriller drama, The K2 stars Ji Chang-Wook and YoonA in the lead. The storyline revolves around Kim Je-Ha (Chang-Wook), a former military person who is wrongfully accused of his girlfriend’s murder. As a fugitive, he comes back to Korea and finds himself a job as a bodyguard for Choi Yoo-Jin. Je-Ha then plots to take revenge against those who, he believes, ordered his girlfriend’s murder. However, in the meantime, he meets Go An-Na (YoonA), and they fall for each other. But soon he finds out more about her, which stirs up his belief.

Confidential Assignment

Starring Hyun Bin and Yoo Hae-Jin in the lead roles, Confidential Assignment is a crime-action movie. YoonA plays a crucial role as Park Min-Young in the film. The storyline revolves around a North Korean detective who embarks on a journey to South Korea to catch a culprit. After arriving in South Korea, the North Korean detective takes the help of another South Korean detective. How both countries work together to get their hands on the culprit is shown in the film. YoonA further reprised her role in the sequel to the movie Confidential Assignment 2: International.
