Iggy Pop and Josh Homme Share New 'American Valhalla' Documentary Trailer

Eagles of Death Metal have also announced a new live DVD, recorded in Paris

Iggy Pop and Josh Homme have revealed the trailer for a new documentary, American Valhalla, which captured the duo’s studio work on Iggy’s most recent album Post Pop Depression, as well as their time together on the road behind that album. Check it out below. Iggy recorded the album with Homme, Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, and Queens of the Stone Age’s Dean Fertita; the new doc is named for a track off that album. Iggy most recently announced the 40th anniversary vinyl reissues of his first three solo albums, and shared a new song, “Asshole Blues.”

In Homme-related news, Eagles of Death Metal have announced a new live album and DVD. I Love You All The Time – Live at The Olympia In Paris was recorded during the band’s return to France in February 2016 following the 2015 attacks that took place during their concert at Le Bataclan. Homme, not usually a touring member of the band, performed drums during the gig. The DVD/2xCD release is out August 4.
