Iggy Azalea knows all about Twitter drama, but even for her, some recent messages crossed the line.

The 27-year-old Australian rapper said she “literally wanted to die” after a clip from one of her early freestyle performance surfaced over the weekend on another account. Azalea said the reactions to the video, which appears to be from a 2013 music festival, caused her to be “bullied endlessly.”

Azalea’s raps have been ridiculed before, including one she did in 2013 on Sway in the Morning on the radio. That one — in which she didn’t exactly freestyle, but instead repeated her own song lyrics a cappella — was mocked so much that it became a meme.

In the latest go-round, Azalea’s supporters had her back.

Far less controversial for Azalea this weekend was her appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she showed some serious leg.
