Iggy Azalea is done posting photos of her one-year-old son, Onyx, on the internet after fans of his father, Playboi Carti, turned his wardrobe into a meme.

Let’s breakdown that sentence shall we? On July 21, Azalea hit back at a fan who made fun of her son’s dinosaur onsie, suggesting he should be wearing designer clothes like Raf Simons instead. “Imagine being so miserable that you bully a one year old child for picking his own outfit,” Azalea responded. “Y’all so corny and bored and it’s really a damn shame.”

This kicked off a back-and-forth between the Australian rapper and supposed fans of her ex, who suggested that they were not making fun of Onyx but that his outfits have become an inside joke amongst the fan base. “Clowning his fits is like an ongoing meme right now,” one user replied. “His dads fans are too much sometimes but there isn’t really any ill intent.”

That didn’t make things better for Azalea, who replied, “My child is not a sub-brand for his fathers fans to obsess over or clown on because the reality is that y’all don’t like his mom so you think it’s cute to be rude about a baby and what funny stuff he wears. Know that I will smack you in person, and so will his dad.”

Things continued on like that for a few minutes. “I don’t play about my baby,” Azaelea tweeted. “At ALLLLLL.”

Eventually, Azalea decided that she’s done posting photos of her son after this incident. “I’ve decided I won’t be posting about Onyx or sharing images online anymore,” she tweeted hours later. “Y’all not about to be out here playing with my baby on my watch, nope!”

In June 2020, Iggy Azalea dropped the surprise news that she welcomed her first child on Instagram Stories. “I have a son,” she wrote at the time, according to E! News. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes, the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.”
