If You Like Drones You’ll Love Fox’s New Show ‘APB’

Fox’s new series APB stars Justin Kirk (Weeds) as Gideon Reeves, just your average billionaire genius maverick type, who, like Lady Gaga, has a bit of a thing for drones.

It was the death of his friend, Sully, that inspired Reeves to find his friend’s killer by buying Chicago P.D.’s District 13 and give it a $100 million cutting-edge makeover complete with a fancy new app, new cruisers, body armor, and tasers!

And if you like drones in any way, you should know there’s no shortage of them in this series, and they helped get the cops hot on the heels of Sully’s killer. But when a rookie cop goes down due to Reeve’s toys, he questions what he’s doing. But not for long because, as this series aims to prove, drones can basically do anything! With the drones having flushed the bad guy out into the open, this episode came down to good old-fashioned police work, a hostage situation, and high tech tasers.

APB airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
