SOUTH BEND — The University of Notre Dame’s IDEA Week begins with a concert by The All-American Rejects at 6:30 p.m. April 20 at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium, 501 W. South St.

Formed in Stillwater, Okla., in 1999, the alt-rock band is known for hits such as “Gives You Hell,” "Dirty Little Secret,” “Move Along,” “Swing, Swing” and “It Ends Tonight.”

The current lineup includes founding members Tyson Ritter on lead vocals and bass and Nick Wheeler on lead guitar, as well as rhythm guitarist Mike Kennerty and drummer Chris Gaylor, both of whom joined in 2002.

Bishop Briggs opens.

According to its website, IDEA Week is an innovation festival hosting business, technology and entertainment events to provide entrepreneurs, students and attendees with the practical knowledge, creative inspiration and social foundation they need to innovate within their own careers, studies and communities.

It continues through April 26 with a launch party from 4:30 to 7 p.m. April 23 at Momentum Entrepreneurship Hub, 518 S. Main St. Admission is free, but RSVP is required at form.jotform.com/240643880991162.

• Strike Up Innovation: Bowling Bash from 6 to 8 p.m. April 24 at Generations Adventureplex, 1018 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka; $25

RISE Fest from 4 to 8 p.m. April 25 at the Studebaker Campus, Studebaker 112, 635 S. Lafayette Blvd., featuring RISE students showcasing their new startup ideas and products

• A performance by comedian Hasan Minhaj at 7 p.m. April 25 at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St.; $118.50-$48.50

• The McCloskey New Venture Competition from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 26 at Notre Dame’s Corbett Family Hall, featuring a Startup Showcase, the Final Round competition and a Finals Reception; the reception takes place at Legends.

Nashville Night from 7 to 10 p.m. April 26 at St. Joe Farm, 52682 Currant Road, Granger, with performances by Roman Alexander and Hannah McFarland; $50-$30
