SOUTH BEND — As the kickoff for the University of Notre Dame’s IDEA Week, The All-American Rejects perform at 6:30 p.m. April 20 at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South St.

Formed in Stillwater, Okla., in 1999, the alt-rock band is known for hits such as “Move Along,” “Dirty Little Secret,” “It Ends Tonight,” “Swing, Swing” and “Gives You Hell.”

The quartet has released four albums: 2002’s “The All-American Rejects,” 2005’s “Move Along,” 2008’s “When the World Comes Down” and 2012’s “Kids in the Street.”

The current lineup includes founding members Tyson Ritter on lead vocals and bass and Nick Wheeler on lead guitar, as well as rhythm guitarist Mike Kennerty and drummer Chris Gaylor, both of whom joined in 2002.

IDEA Week is an annual event that celebrates innovation, entrepreneurs and the incubation of world-changing ideas.

Tickets are $109-$44 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 16.

Premium Pit VIP tickets at $109 and include a two-hour all-you-can-eat ballpark buffet (grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, mac and cheese, and cookies) along with complimentary beer, wine and soda.

Tickets purchased at all price levels between Feb. 16 and 23 receive a 15% discount.
