Home Depot skeleton goes on 'epic' adventure in TikTok video: 'This is a work of art'

Every holiday season, people wonder what their Elf on the Shelf gets up to when they’re asleep. But this year, Halloween lovers are imagining what their giant Home Depot skeleton props do when they’re home alone.

Content creator Kiel James Patrick racked up 1.3 million views with a funny sketch about the misadventures of his Home Depot skeleton. In a skit aptly named “What your Home Depot giant skeleton does when you leave the house,” the spooky prop had a bit of a Ferris Bueller’s Day Off-esque romp.

See this bedroom turn into a vibrant oasis after an incredible one-day renovation:

The skeleton got dressed, put on shades and hopped into a convertible. He took his skeleton girlfriend to Michael’s for seasonal decorations, and then they made the obligatory stop at Starbucks on the way home.

“And they lived happily ever after,” Patrick wrote in the caption.

TikTokers loved the way Kiel creatively used the props to tell a story.

“How did you film this? Especially them driving?” someone asked. Kiel replied, “Two solid days! Was worth every second.”

“It’s bad enough I can’t buy this skeleton and now you go and do something epic like this,” another said.

“I can’t imagine seeing this in person driving around town. This is the best,” a person wrote.

“As soon as they stopped at Starbucks I knew it was a perfect date,” a user commented.

“This is a work of art,” a TikToker added.
