An iconic duo is eliminated and unmasked during a magical night on 'Masked Singer'

Hydra from Team Bad took the stage on The Masked Singer Wednesday night with a sharp dressed performance. However, after losing in a western-style duel against the Armadillo, the mystery celebrities were eliminated and forced to unmask.

While the celebrity panelists took turns guessing iconic duos like Bert and Ernie, Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, and South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the duo in-disguise were actually a couple of jokers – world-renowned magicians and entertainers Penn Jillette and Teller, also known as Penn & Teller.

Teller usually never speaks during their performances, and that didn't change once the mask was off. "Well our idea," explained Penn, "Was that it would be perhaps a little bit of a mislead. Some people can recognize my voice, so we gave Teller actually most of the singing, so that maybe you wouldn't recognize his voice as much."

Even though Penn said that being on The Masked Singer was "a stone solid blast," apparently it wasn't where the magic happens for the duo, but before heading back to their residency in Sin City, they gave one final performance.
