Ice-T's Wife Coco Gets Mixed Reactions Over Breastfeeding 4-Year-Old Daughter

Coco Austin shared a beautiful photo of her breastfeeding her daughter while flying aboard a private jet, and just as expected, it ignited a firestorm among parenting critics.

The 40-year-old wife of rapper, Ice-T, posted a photo of herself breastfeeding 4-year-old daughter, Chanel, while flying on a PJ with her hubby.

Coco wrote a heartfelt caption about the "unbelievable experience," and how she has continued to breastfeed her daughter longer than most.

"A mothers calling.... I'm so blessed to have this unbelievable experience in this thing called Nursing.. I had a hard time breastfeeding the 1st week of when Chanel was born, I almost gave up but my family told me to hang for another week. They told me I dont want to miss this special moment you have with your child.. health wise and bond wise..I hung in there and now almost 4 years later Chanel still wants the boob."

Coco explained that breastfeeding for Chanel is, "more of a comfort thing now," but admitted, "I'm lucky she hasn't grown out it yet because when that moment comes I will be so sad..its the best feeling and ALL mothers that nurse know."

The moment was praised by many famous moms, including Jenna Jameson, who is a big advocate of longterm breastfeeding.

"Yes mama!!!!! Natural term breastfeeding for the win 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 2 1/2 years for me so far!" the former adult star wrote.

IG fitness model Mariza Villareal commented that, "I nursed all 4 of my sons my first and my 3rd for 3 years and my 2nd and 4th weened themselves after a year. My 1st and 3rd never get sick. It’s from nursing them for so long. Nothing can compare to mothers milk. Great job babe."

Not everyone was a supporter, however, as some fans mom-shamed Coco for breastfeeding her daughter for so long.

"She is to [sic] big I think it's time to take her off now," one critic advised.

Another commented, "Coco she’s too big for breastfeeding. Give her real milk," while one fan thought, "I don’t believe that’s ok at this time.. it’s time to stop."

Regardless of the negativity, Coco is doing what she feels is best for herself and her daughter ... which doesn't appear to be listening to the peanut gallery for parenting advice.
