Ice-T And Coco Celebrate 23rd Anniversary With Relationship Advice
Ice-T and Nicole “Coco” Austin celebrated their 23rd Anniversary on New Year’s Eve. The couple took to Instagram with two respective posts commemorating their love.
Ice shared some advice for couples looking to establish longevity. The legendary emcee also included a throwback picture of the couple rocking lemonade yellow threads. “Today is Coco and my 23rd Anniversary! Keep it fun, Keep it sexy, and by all means, ‘Stay in LOVE!,'” he captioned the picture. “It just gets better every year..! EVERYONE have an Incredible New Years. 2024.”
Coco shared a post of what seems to be the couple in their wedding digs. Ice-T and Coco are photographed sharing a moment as the latter admires her husband. “Here’s to 23 years with this guy!! My rock! My diamond in the rough! Love you beyond #HappyAnniversary#HappyNewYear2024 #nowordscandescribe,” she captioned her loving picture.
The model then followed up with pictures from their New Year’s celebration. Treach and Melle Mel are also featured in the commemorative photos. “Happy New Years! Even though we almost missed the countdown cuz we got stuck in frigin [sic] Manhattan traffic!! We still had fun afterwards. Again, Happy Anniversary to my honey!!”
In March 2023, Ice revealed that The Osbournes inspired him to marry Austin. The rap pioneer appeared on an episode of That Moment with Daymond John. He shared how he figured out when he wanted Coco to be his forever. The “Colors” rapper expressed that the rock power couples’ reality show motivated his decision. “When I was going after Coco, I was watching a lot of The Osbournes,” Ice-T said. “And I was looking like, ‘Would Ozzy have a mansion if it wasn’t for Sharon Osbourne?'”
“This woman is running all the tours, running all his businesses,” Ice continued. “It doesn’t even seem like Ozzy would know how to pay a phone bill. Ozzy is something different. But he’s wealthy because he got a woman to hold it together.”
Ice and Coco married in 2002 and have one child together—a young daughter named Chanel.
