Last year, the “New Jack Hustler” hitmaker spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about one of Austin’s greatest qualities — being a great mother!

"Coco is super mom," Ice-T said of his wife during the December interview. "We have no nannies. She doesn't do that."

To the rapper-turned-actor, being a mother is the most important job there is. He also added that women shouldn’t feel bad for being able to stay at home with their children instead of having to work.

"If you're fortunate enough to be able to stay home with your kids, it's the most incredible and most admirable thing you can do, is raise a child," he told PEOPLE at the time. "So don't let no woman make you feel any kind of way. Do that job. So she picks Chanel up, goes to school, brings her back, takes her to Kung Fu, takes her to all that stuff."

"Coco's super mom. She didn't ever think she was going to be a super mom — it just happened," he added.

According to Ice-T, Chanel is well-behaved and “doesn't require too much discipline.”

He also discussed how their parenting style and lifestyles have influenced their daughter’s upbringing.

"We do our parenting," he said. "I think the thing of it is, it's Ice-T and Coco. Our parenting is a lot different than the normal, square couple from Oklahoma. I'm a f---ing rock star, it’s different."

And Chanel has already expressed that she’s interested in following in her famous parents’ footsteps.

At the Law & Order: SVU 25th anniversary celebration in New York City in January, Ice-T and Austin revealed that Chanel already has an acting agent.

"You know Chanel and Ryan Buggle [who plays Noah, son of Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson] have the same agents. We didn’t even know that. She just got an agent," Austin told PEOPLE.

"Chanel wanted to be here tonight. She's mad at us right now," Ice-T added. "She looked at the babysitter like, 'Really?! Really?' "
