Ice Spice has teamed up with Rema for a new single called “Pretty Girl.” Stream the track below.

Ice Spice first began teasing “Pretty Girl” on Instagram in September, sharing a post with the caption “i’m just a.. pretty girl” on September 19th. Then, earlier this week, she confirmed the collaboration, posting the artwork for the single and revealing that it would be out by the end of the week.

Produced by RiotUSA, the song features a chill, driving beat, with Rema’s choruses complementing Ice Spice’s lovestruck verses. “I ain’t been in love in a minute,” she raps, “It’s our life so baby, let’s live it.” Rema then chimes in with a memorable refrain, with layers of his voice harmonizing over a bouncing melody.

The single arrives as Ice Spice is gearing up to be the musical guest for the first episode of Saturday Night Live’s 49th season, joining host Pete Davidson for the show’s return after a hiatus induced by the WGA strike.

This past July, Ice Spice shared a deluxe version of her EP Like…?, which featured four brand-new tracks, as well as a remix of “Princess Diana” featuring Nicki Minaj. In June, the duo made sure Aqua got in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie with their hit single “Barbie World,” which became a No. 2 hit on the Billboard Top 40.

Meanwhile, Ice Spice will join Doja Cat on her upcoming “Scarlet Tour,” which kicks off in San Fransisco on October 31st, and runs through December. Doechii will open for the first run of dates, with Ice Spice set to provide support for the final run, beginning November 21st.

As for Rema, the Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter shared a deluxe version of his debut album Rave & Roses in April. In 2022, he released the hit song “Calm Down,” which rose to No. 1 in a number of countries, and was even re-released with a feature from Selena Gomez.
