Believe it or not, it's Friday again — which means New Music Friday is here, and this week's releases are as varied as they come.

Drill fans would be delighted to know that, fresh off her debut Coachella run, Ice Spice has hopped on the remix of Cash Cobain and Bay Swag's “Fisherrr." R&B fans will rejoice with PARTYNEXTDOOR's long-anticipated fourth album, funk aficionados will surely have Anitta's Funk Generation on repeat, while K-pop fans have ZICO and BLACKPINK's Jennie's new collab to bop to.

If those are not enough for you, there's even more from Laufey, Normani, Coi Leray, Tems, The Chainsmokers, and more to give your playlists a hefty update no matter what vibe you are up for. So, without further ado, check out this week's best new music releases below:

Cash Cobain & Bay Swag feat. Ice Spice, “Fisherrr” Remix

This one's for New York. Rapper Cash Cobain was recently crowned Billboard’s April 2024 R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month, and he’s continuing his winning streak with a perfectly timed remix to his viral hit “Fisherrr.” The original track, which features fellow up-and-comer Bay Swag, was partly boosted in popularity thanks to the Reemski, a dance you’ve surely seen across your FYP or at any day party in the five boroughs since the weather broke.

Joining the “sexy drill” record this Friday is none other than the People’s Princess Ice Spice, who slides across the earworm with ease, maintaining her signature baddie lyrical motifs while taking on a smoother beat than her usual menacing 808s. The video is fun, sultry, nostalgic, and still fresh, with scenes shot in a Chinese takeout spot authentic to any hood. With this new Ice Spice assist, one thing’s “fisherrr” — it’s gonna be a sexy, Slizzy Summer.

Laufey, Bewitched: The Goddess Edition

After reaching TikTok virality with her song “From The Start," Icelandic-Chinese musician Laufey has released the deluxe version of her acclaimed sophomore album, Bewitched: The Goddess Edition, with four new bonus tracks: “Bored,” "Trouble," "It Could Happen to You," and the previously released "Goddess." If you are looking for the perfect jazz-pop songs to soundtrack your next soirée at home, look no further than these.

PARTYNEXTDOOR, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4)

PARTYNEXTDOOR is back with his long-anticipated fourth studio album, simply titled PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4). Comprising 14 songs and spanning exactly 45 minutes, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 is as sultry and vibey as you'd expect from the Canadian singer, weaving in storytelling in between songs and even making a DMX sample sound chill.

ZICO feat. BLACKPINK's Jennie, “SPOT!”

After posting multiple teasers on social media, ZICO and BLACKPINK's Jennie have finally put out their new collaboration, “SPOT!”, with a joint video to boot. “The charm of this single lies in its simple arrangement that evokes listeners’ excitement and desire to have fun," ZICO said of the song in a press release, and we are going to have to agree.

Normani feat. Gunna, “1:59”

At long last, Normani is realising new music. Yes, this is real life and not an illusion. As a teaser for her upcoming album Dopamine, Normani has released the sultry “1:59” featuring American rapper Gunna. “1:59” is R&B at its finest, with honeyed vocals and riffs aplenty caressing the listeners' ears.

Anitta, Funk Generation

It wouldn't be summer without new Anitta music. The Brazilian superstar is back with her sixth studio album, Funk Generation. Comprising 15 trilingual songs, including collaborations with Spanish singer Bad Gyal and even Sam Smith, Funk Generation is one for the parties.

BIBI & Jackson Wang, “Feeling Lucky”

After debuting it at Coachella 2024, BIBI and Jackson Wang have put out their new duet “Feeling Lucky” via 88Rising. Sultry, sexy, and simple, “Feeling Lucky” is anchored by pop sensibilities and rocky guitars and comes off the heels of BIBI's debut studio album, Lowlife Princess Noir.

Tems, “Love Me JeJe”

Nigerian singer Tems is giving us the first taste of her upcoming album, Born In The Wild, which she announced at Coachella 2024 sets, in the form of “Love Me JeJe,” which she previously described as her way of “paying tribute to my country” while performing it live.

Coi Leray, “Can’t Come Back”

With an almost haunting, whispered chorus, “Can’t Come Back” is Coi Leray like you've never seen her before. Produced by Melz and Truebeatzz, the defiant R&B track ushers in a new, darker era for the singer, as she herself proclaimed on social media while promoting the track. If there's one thing we love, it's a reintroduction so we will be seated waiting for more.

The Chainsmokers & Fridayy, “Friday”

Electronic duo The Chainsmokers has teamed up with Haitian-American singer Fridayy for a groovy love song called “Friday" — and if you are getting “Closer” vibes, you are not imagining things. “We have waited 9+ years to tap back into this wave that started our career,” the duo admitted on Instagram, teasing the song as having “2016 energy.” The also praised Fridayy, writing: “We needed a voice that was special and lyrics that could absolutely nail it. This is a song for all the best friends out there that are your family.”

NewJeans, “Bubble Gum”

NewJeans is gearing up for the release of their new comeback with How Sweet and have unveiled a new single, “Bubble Gum,” ahead of time. With synths and suave vocals galore coupled with their distinctive Y2K-inspired, pastel-hued aesthetics, we are sure “Bubble Gum" will become an earworm in no time.
