Several ice cream spots around Knox County have classic and unique flavors to lick and scoop up. You can also indulge in sundaes topped with sprinkles, hot fudge, cherries, candies, gummies and whatever else your sweet tooth desires.

Bruster’s Ice Cream
Bruster’s ice cream is made the old-fashioned way, handcrafted at each location with a milk-based mix from the company’s own dairy. Bruster’s shops have 150 recipes in rotation, with 24 flavors available at a time. A menu for the flavors available at each location is on knoxvillebrusters.com.

Bubbles and Cream
Bubbles and Cream is a soda shop located in Marble City Market food hall. It serves ice cream, sundaes, floats, and has fresh waffle cones. Flavors include honeydew, mint chip and pink lemonade.

Cruze Farm
Cruze Farm churns soft-serve ice cream in a variety of classic and seasonal flavors. Selections are made fresh from their own dairy farm in Knoxville. Recent flavors include cotton candy, key lime, cherry Dole Whip and pineapple Dole Whip. Look for the iconic red and white decor and uniforms.

Knox Dough
They say not to eat cookie dough, but you can at Knox Dough. Made fresh to order, Knox Dough offers rolled ice cream infused with your choice of edible cookie dough and topped with toppings.

La Michoacana Movil
La Michoacana has a wide variety of Mexican ice cream creations, frozen treats, parfaits and other dessert options. There are 24 flavors of ice cream in the dipping cabinet, but they rotate through 45 flavors on their menu and have 98 flavors of the popsicles.

The Original Freezo
The Original Freezo is a Central Street staple. Butterscotch, caramel, hot fudge, peanut butter and pineapple sundaes are all on the menu.

Phoenix Pharmacy and Fountain
Phoenix Pharmacy is classic full-service pharmacy and authentic soda fountain located downtown. Ice cream flavors include black cherry pistachio, lemon custard and cookies and cream. An array of toppings, specialty sundaes and ice cream floats are also available.

The Sugar Queen Creamery
This South Knox ice cream parlor has 28 classic and fun flavors on a rotation, including browned butter pecan, peanut butter Oreo and strawberry brownie cheesecake.
Dairy-free options include lavender and honey and honey blackberry. Most toppings are $1 but sprinkles are always free.

Twisters Shakes and Sundaes
Sundaes here are prepared just like they should be at a classic American diner. The Diner at Twisters Shakes has a variety of special sundaes on the menu. All sundaes are made with vanilla ice cream and can be topped with much more than just a cherry.
