The members of iCarly‘s nation are officially in mourning today, with Paramount+ cancelling the revival after three seasons, a rep for the streamer confirms to TVLine.

iCarly will not be returning for a fourth season on Paramount+,” says a Par+ spokesperson. “The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together.  We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”

News if the show’s demise began to leak early Wednesday when cast member Laci Mosley declared to her followers on X (formerly known as Twitter), “It’s cancelled, babes,” before adding in the comments that she’s “heartbroken.”

A continuation of the same-titled Nickelodeon series (2007–2012), iCarly starred Miranda Cosgrove as influencer Carly Shay, Jerry Trainor as Carly’s brother Spencer, Nathan Kress as Carly’s producer-turned-boyfriend Freddie, Laci Mosley as Carly’s roommate Harper and Jaidyn Triplett as Freddie’s daughter Millicent.

Frequently recurring guest stars included Mary Scheer as Freddie’s mom Marissa, Jeremy Rowley as Marissa’s new husband Lewbert and Patty Guggenheim as Harper’s girlfriend Tinsley.

The show’s third season finale, which will now serve as its de facto series finale, ended on a pair of potentially game-changing cliffhangers. Not only did Carly and Freddie, who have officially been dating for a grand total of seven episodes, decide to tie the knot after Mrs. Benson and Lewbert ditched them for a low-key Vegas elopement, but the big #Creddie wedding also had an uninvited guest — Cary and Spencer’s estranged mother! Dun, dun, dun.

Our Streaming TV Scorecard has been updated to reflect iCarly’s renewal/cancellation.
