Ziering says he was attacked by individuals on mini bikes on Hollywood Boulevard on Dec. 31.

Ian Ziering's Beverly Hills, 90210 costars have chimed in on the actor's Instagram post detailing a New Year's Eve incident.

In a social media post, Ziering says he was attacked by bikers on Hollywood Boulevard, which was corroborated by video obtained by TMZ. "Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes," the Sharknado actor said on Instagram. "While stuck in traffic, my car was approached by one of these riders, leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage, I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself."

A second video shared by TMZ shows the actor's windshield and side mirror damaged, which were allegedly damaged during the incident.

The post, which was shared on New Year's Day, has since been liked by his Beverly Hills, 90210 costars Shannen Doherty, Brian Austin Green, and Jason Priestley. None of the actors responded to a request for comment from EW.

However, Green has posted his own reaction in an Instagram story, supporting Ziering in the wake of the incident. "Hey, so I didn't get a chance to get into this at all," Green said in a video from the driver's seat of a car. "My boy Ian Ziering got into a fistfight on Hollywood Boulevard with like five dudes, and f---ing like beat them, did it, did his thing."

Green continued, "He's a monster. He's f---ing incredibly fit, obviously. I would not suggest to anyone to fight people, especially not now in this climate. But you know what? All turned out well. Z, I love you, brother. You're a f---ing beast. Good on you."

Ziering and his 12-year-old daughter, who was in the car at the time of the incident, are "both completely unscathed."

"As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient," he said. "We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure that our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences."

The actor, however, did not detail what he believes to be the underlying issues or what solutions he might be proposing. Violent crime in Los Angeles decreased in 2023.
