Iain Lee has responded after Rebekah Vardy appeared to claim she didn't bully him on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - insisting she made his time in the jungle "miserable".

The pair were both contestants on the reality TV show in 2017 and presenter Lee has previously suggested that Vardy made him feel unhappy and isolated during their time in the camp.

Vardy, 40, was asked about it in an interview with The Sun after losing her high-profile Wagatha Christie libel case against Coleen Rooney.

She was asked if she was a bully and replied: "Edited TV looks a certain way. I don't have anything bad to say about him."

Lee has now tweeted a screengrab of the interview, saying: "So @RebekahVardy claiming she didn't bully me because 'edited TV looks a certain way'.

"They can only edit what you do and say. You don't get to say if I was bullied. You made my time in the jungle miserable."

"Don't start using me as part of your rehabilitation," he added.

Lee went on to make it clear that he didn't want Vardy to be trolled over what he had said.

"I've had to block a few people - please do not send her abuse," he tweeted.

Vardy and Rooney were embroiled in a legal battle after Rooney posted a message on Instagram accusing Vardy of leaking stories about her to the press.

Vardy sued for libel but lost her case after a High Court judge found Rooney's post was “substantially true”.

The 40-year-old was the third celebrity to be voted out of I'm A Celebrity in her series, while Lee finished in third place.
