EXCLUSIVE: Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is teaming up with Jorge Granier and Chris Albrecht of Rubicon Global Media to develop and co-produce the Spanish and English-language crime drama, Prey Before You Eat (w/t).

The project reunites Jackson and Albrecht, former CEO and President of Starz who greenlit the Power series that has spawned three successful spinoff series thus far.

“I am excited to join forces again with Chris, we have had great success together with the Power Universe. I look forward to bringing more premium content to underserved audiences and doing it with my friend Chris makes it that much better,” Jackson tells Deadline in an exclusive statement.

“50 is the real deal. He is a true creative and business force as well as a great partner. It has been fun watching him evolve into a globally successful media entrepreneur, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with him again,” Albrecht shared.

Albrecht and Granier recently founded Rubicon Global Media which aggregates leading intellectual property from Latin America and Spain and transforms it into story-driven content with multinational appeal. Their partnerships include Secuoya Studios, the leading Spanish language content production studio and distribution company as well as with Mexico-based BTF Media.

Jackson is repped by IAG and attorney Stephen Savva.
