New Zealand actor and Hunt For The Wilderpeople break-out star Julian Dennison has inked with LINK Entertainment. The Taika Waititi-directed coming of age adventure that also starred Sam Neil was a hit at Sundance and enjoyed a successful limited theatrical run. Dennison starred as Ricky, raised on hip-hop and foster care, the defiant city kid gets a fresh start in the New Zealand countryside. Dennison also won the New Zealand Film Award for best supporting actor in his debut feature Shopping at the age of 9 and followed it up with another role in the Australian film Paper Planes opposite Sam Worthington. He will continue to be repped by Red Rocket Actors in New Zealand.
French director Pierre Teulieres has signed with UTA and Magnet Management. Teulieres, a prominent music video director, recently directed the short film Le Plan, which has screened throughout the European festival circuit. It takes place in an isolated mansion, and is about a creature who receives orders to carry out a sinister plan that will change the face of the world. Meanwhile, a desperate father is in search for his missing daughter. Teulieres will be repped by Mike Esola, Ramses Ishak and Michael Sheresky at UTA and Jon Kanak at Magnet.
