Hulu: Inside Amy Schumer, Broad City & more soon available

Hulu inks expanded deal with Viacom to exclusively stream 'Inside Amy Schumer,' 'Broad City,' and more

Thanks to a new multi-year expanded deal between Hulu and Viacom, some of Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and MTV’s most popular series will stream exclusively on Hulu.

The streaming platform will be the SVOD location to catch past and future seasons of Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, Broad City, Drunk History, Key & Peele, as well as MTV’s Faking It and Finding Carter with new seasons of Workaholics, Awkward, and Catfish: The TV Show now available on the streaming service.

“Viacom has been an important partner of ours since we struck our first deal with them over five years ago and our relationship has only grown since then,” CEO of Hulu, Mike Hopkins, said in a statement. “Today, we are not only extending our deal, but we are adding more premium content than ever from their popular family of networks.”

“We are thrilled to be expanding our successful relationship with Hulu as they continue to build an even bigger and better service for subscribers and our passionate viewers,” president and CEO of Viacom, Philippe Dauman, added. “Hulu has been a great partner for Viacom for many years. They have a commitment to their customers and brand partners and value how Viacom’s popular range of youthful brands and programs create a better experience for Hulu users. We also value the promotional and marketing support they provide for our brands and shows.”

The streaming service has amped up its kids’ programming, too, with the addition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bella and the Bulldogs, The Thundermans and several others. And as Nickelodeon launches its throwback programming block, The Splat on TeenNick, Hulu is adding a dose of nostalgia of its own as all episodes of Doug, Rugrats, T.U.F.F. Puppy, and Planet Sheen will be added to its roster, joining other Nick faves including The Wild Thornberrys, Drake & Josh, and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron.
