Hugh Jackman & Ex-Wife Deborra-Lee Furness Still Celebrated This Milestone Together Despite Their Divorce

Hugh Jackman may be going through a major life change since the announcement he’s getting divorced from Deborra Lee Furness after 27 years together but one thing that seems to be staying the same is the former couple’s undying support for one another.
That was especially the case this week when the Les Misérables star celebrated turning 55 years old, marking his first birthday since his split. Page Six reported that Furness was in attendance when the celebrated his birthday over dinner in New York.

“Very happy time [had] by all,” said a source who claimed Furness, Jackman and their two children, Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18, and “a few close friends” had dinner together at Polo Bar. “Think it was good birthday.”
A rep for the actor confirmed this to the outlet saying, “Yes, it’s true. It was a lovely evening.”

On his big day, Jackman posted a throwback photo to Instagram looking back at some good days. “I was maybe 17,” Jackman wrote in the caption of his teenage picture. “I was the assistant (to the assistant) of the footy team. #throwbackthursday”
“You had the Wolverine in you before you became one,” wrote one commenter who noticed the signature Wolverine scowl. “When he didn’t have the claws yet,” echoed another.
The next day, Jackman followed up all the positive happy birthday messages he’d been receiving with a recent pic. In the shot, a fully bearded Jackman is seen holding up a drink to the camera during a night out.
“Thank you ALL for the birthday love!!!” the actor wrote in the caption on Instagram. “I’m reading your messages, seeing the special videos and experiencing all the feels. 🥹”
In the comments, as usual, fans and friends of the star continue to celebrate his good looks and his big day. “HAPPY BORN DAY!!!!” commented fellow actor Michael B. Jordan. “May the universe keep blessing you!”
“Happy birthday Wolverine, you look fantastic!! 🔥🔥” wrote an excited fan. “WE have to thank you for all your smiles and your happiness!” wrote another follower. “Enjoy it! ❤️❤️”
In addition to the outpouring of love on socials, Jackman is reportedly adamant about working on himself in this new chapter in his life. According to the National Enquirer via Radar Online, the actor is ready to undergo a full transformation in the coming months. “He’s going over the top with his workouts and buying state-of-the-art equipment,” the source revealed.
“He’s replacing his old wardrobe with hip designer duds and his metrosexual guy friends are turning him on to a stylist to help him with manscaping,” the insider continued. “For the first time in his life, he’s buying the stuff he doesn’t need — and it’s giving him a desperately needed thrill!”
Regardless of what Jackman decides to do in his new phase, his fans will undoubtedly have his back!
