Hugh Jackman Is Being Linked to This Broadway Star but She Just Set the Record Straight

Hugh Jackman has become one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors when he split from wife Deborra-Lee Furness after 27 years of marriage. And, of course, the rumors about his love life began to surface quickly and linked him to his recent Broadway co-star. But are the rumors true? Well, Jackman’s leading lady in The Music Man, Sutton Foster, had something to say about it with a very subtle, but powerful, Instagram post.

The gossip began when a source told InTouch that Jackman and Foster’s affair was “an open secret on Broadway” during the show they performer together from December 2021 through January 2023. A second insider claimed that Jackman “has been besotted with Sutton from the moment he met her. He followed her around like a puppy!” They noted that it wasn’t a one-way street either because Foster was allegedly “giddy around” the Wolverine star, even praising him for being “the greatest thing that came out of the whole experience.”

The problem with this entire narrative is that the Younger star is happily married to screenwriter Ted Griffin, and they have an adorable six-year-old daughter, Emily Dale — and she’s not hiding that fact whatsoever. The talented singer shared a sweet family snapshot with Griffin and their daughter which should set the record straight: No, Foster isn’t dating Jackman. (See the third photo in the Instagram carousel.) But that hasn’t stopped Broadway insiders from spilling the tea and making Jackman look like a middle-school kid with a major crush. “He always treated Sutton like SHE was the star — and she was moved by that!” the source alleged. “He insisted that they share equal billing above the title of the show.” Jackman just sounds like a generous co-worker to us.

The 55-year-old actor is still working his way through his divorce with Furness since they have to sort through the couple’s $100 million estate. After almost three decades of marriage, and two kids together, Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18, it’s not an easy task. Jackman has a lot on his plate, but it isn’t a heated romance with Foster.
