Jenny McCarthy visited Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen Sunday evening, where she revealed that her favorite memory of the late Hugh Hefner was actually some blunt but constructive criticism she received from him.
The former Playmate explained that when she was auditioning to be a Playboy centerfold, the test consisted of her shooting the same body position for five days. After Host Andy Cohen asked McCarthy to show everyone the pose, McCarthy continued to say, “So, eight hours a day for five days and on day four, the producer, or production, whatever, editor, said ‘Come meet with me; Hef is on the phone’ and Hef said, ‘You’ve got one more chance. Go home and practice, because your face looks like you just hit a deer with your car. You look so horrified.'”
McCarthy then went on to say that she went home that night and tried to “find sexy.”
In the end, McCarthy learned that she didn’t need to find sexy, because her smile was more than enough to win her the title.
